Illinois High School Soccer - Joliet West knocks off Joliet Central
April 30, 2024: Joliet, IL 60435 Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) in a Suburban Prairie challenge, on Thursday, May 2. Joliet West will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 1-0 league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL).
The Steelmen now possess a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield North for a Suburban Prairie challenge on Thursday, May 2. Joliet Central will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 league win over Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 16-2.
