Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 10-2 in a league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they host Union City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Cowan will battle a Indians squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Indians record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Monroe Central falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Southern Wells (Poneto, IN) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Southern Wells won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN)
