New Jersey High School Softball - West Morris Mendham holds off Kent Place
April 30, 2024: Summit, NJ 07901 West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kent Place Dragons (Summit, NJ), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Minutemen now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Parsippany for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. West Morris Mendham will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Kent Place falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Dragons host New Providence (New Providence, NJ) to face the Pioneers in a UCC - Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. New Providence lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ)
