In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN), by a margin of 12-3.

With the triumph, Western moves its record to 14-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Rossville (Rossville, IN) to play the Hornets in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 1. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 11-1. Rossville won 17-1 in their recent league contest against Sheridan (Sheridan, IN)

In their next game, the Wildkats play the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) in a North Central contest, on Wednesday, May 1. Kokomo will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record.
