Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pensacola Catholic Crusaders (Pensacola, FL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now own a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Bay Haven Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Walton will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Bay (Panama City, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 19-5.

With the loss, Pensacola Catholic falls to 10-12 on the campaign.
