April 30, 2024: Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) and the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), witnessed Sedro-Woolley's softball squad prevail over Squalicum by a count of 24-0.
The Cubs now sport a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Thursday, May 2. Sedro-Woolley will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 18-3 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Squalicum moves to 0-11 on the season. The Storm host Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to meet the Pioneers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Thursday, May 2. The Pioneers go into the match with a record of 5-10. Nooksack Valley lost 7-5 in their recent league match against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
