April 30, 2025: Northborough, MA 01532 The Doherty Memorial Highlanders (Worcester, MA) volleyball held off the host Algonquin Regional Titans (Northborough, MA), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Highlanders now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Ayer Shirley for a non-league bout on Friday, May 2. Doherty Memorial will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Algonquin Regional drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Titans host Leominster (Leominster, MA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Midland Wachusett bout on Thursday, May 1. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Leominster lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA)
