Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ), 25-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Plainfield improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Kent Place (Summit, NJ) to play the Dragons in a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 0-0. Kent Place 19-19 in their recent non-league battle against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ)

The Red Devil now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Manville for a non-league battle on Monday, May 19.
