New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Sparta overwhelms Cranford
April 30, 2025: Cranford, NJ 07016 Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) and the host Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ), witnessed Sparta's lacrosse squad top Cranford by a count of 14-5.
The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Kittatinny Regional thwarted Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), 9-8, in a non-league test.
Next, the Cougars battle the Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 12. Cranford will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record.
