Michigan High School Softball - Chesaning bounces Merrill
April 30, 2025: Merrill, MI 48637 The Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) softball routed the host Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), 9-3 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Indians now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Morris for a Mid-Michigan outing on Monday, May 5. Chesaning will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Bentley (Burton, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Merrill moves to 6-8 on the season. The Vandals host Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI) to encounter the Eagles in a Mid-State outing on Friday, May 2. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 3-8. Carson City-Crystal won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Fulton (Middleton, MI)
