New Jersey High School Softball - Spotswood gets by Colonia
April 30, 2025: Spotswood, NJ 08884 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) and the visiting Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ), observed Spotswood's softball team get by Colonia by a tally of 3-2.
The Chargers (7-7) will now prepare for their bout against Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Monroe Township was nipped by Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Sayreville Bombers (Parlin, NJ) in a GMC - White bout, on Friday, May 2. Colonia will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Bombers go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 10-0 league win over South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ).
