April 30, 2025: Grand Rapids, MN 55744 In Wednesday's league test, the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) softball squad got by the visiting Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN), by a tally of 5-4.
Next, the Thunderhawks clash with the Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Grand Rapids will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Rails go into the test with a 2-6 record after their 14-3 league win over Denfeld (Duluth, MN).
The Greyhounds (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Hill-Murray held off South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN), 9-5, in a league test.
