The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Taft School Big Red to 1 in the Pelicans league win on Wednesday.

The Pelicans now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheshire Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5.

With the loss, Taft School moves to 0-7 on the season. The Big red travel to Greens Farms Academy (Greens Farms, CT) to confront the Dragons in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 1-4.
