In Thursday's non-league test, the Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) lacrosse team edged the host Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA), by a count of 15-14.

Next up, the Mariners battle the Pacific Grove Breakers (Pacific Grove, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan test, on Friday, May 8. Aptos will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record.

The Knights (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Toreadors enter the PCAL - Mission test with a 2-10 record.
