Indiana High School Softball - Hancock County can't get by Perry Central
April 30, 2026: Leopold, IN 47551 Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY), 5-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Perry Central upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Commodores travel to Tell City (Tell City, IN) to play the Marksmen in a non-league game on Friday, May 1. The Marksmen enter the game with a record of 4-6. Tell City lost 12-0 in their recent league game against Boonville (Boonville, IN)
The Hornets now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they host Breckinridge County for a District 11 game on Monday, May 4. Hancock County will play a Fighting Tigers squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 4-13.
