New Jersey High School Softball - Metuchen bounces Middlesex
April 30, 2026: Metuchen, NJ 08840 The Metuchen Bulldogs softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Middlesex Bluejays to 10 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Brunswick for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 2. Metuchen will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, Middlesex moves to 10-6 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ) to confront the Barrons in a GMC - White battle on Friday, May 1. The Barrons come into the battle with a record of 12-4. Woodbridge won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ)
