Massachusetts High School Softball - Academy of Notre Dame bounces Georgetown
April 4, 2022: Georgetown, MA 01833 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Academy of Notre Dame Lancers (Tyngsborough, MA) and the host Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA), witnessed Academy of Notre Dame's softball squad prevail over Georgetown by a count of 10-1.
The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Lowell Tech for a non-league match on Monday, April 11. Academy of Notre Dame will face a Gryphons squad coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA). The Gryphons record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Georgetown moves to 0-2 on the season. The Royals travel to Amesbury (Amesbury, MA) to face the Indians in a Cape Ann Baker battle on Wednesday, April 6. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
