Alabama High School Softball - Phil Campbell bounces Sheffield
April 4, 2022: Sheffield, AL 35660 Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a 3A Area 15 challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Phil Campbell will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Brewer (Somerville, AL). The Hawks record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Sheffield falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, AL) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 8. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Cherokee lost 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Waterloo (Waterloo, AL)
