North Carolina High School Softball - Riverside-Durham knocked off by Vance Charter
April 4, 2022: Durham, NC 27712 In Monday's non-league contest, the Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), by a margin of 21-1.
With the triumph, Vance Charter moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Knights host Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a Triangle North 1A contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Roxboro Community won 12-2 in their recent league contest against Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC)
In their next game, the Pirates play the Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 7. Riverside-Durham will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 15-0 league loss to St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC).
