Kentucky High School Softball - Rowan County bounces Russell
April 4, 2022: Russell, KY 41169 Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), 12-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pike County Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11.
With the loss, Russell falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Red devils host Huntington (Huntington, WV) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Huntington lost 20-4 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV)
