West Virginia High School Softball - Woodrow Wilson bounces Wyoming East
April 4, 2022: New Richmond, WV 24867 Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Flying Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenbrier East for a challenge on Wednesday, April 6. Woodrow Wilson will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Wyoming East falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to battle the Renegades in a Coalfield AA challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Renegades enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. WestSide won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV)
