California High School Baseball - Centennial gets by Mt. Whitney
April 4, 2023: Visalia, CA 93277 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), saw Centennial's baseball squad beat Mt. Whitney by a margin of 8-6.
Coming up next, the Golden Hawks play the Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 4. Centennial will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 16-10 non-league loss to Arvin (Arvin, CA).
The Pioneers now sport a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 5. Mt. Whitney will play a Falcons squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Sanger (Sanger, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 10-5.
