Texas High School Baseball - Iowa Colony loses to Sweeny
April 4, 2023: Arcola, TX 77583 In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Sweeny Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Iowa Colony Pioneers.
The Bulldogs (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Roughnecks go into the 4A Region IV District 26 game with a 13-7 record. In their last game, Columbia ran past Danbury (Danbury, TX), 7-6, in a non-league game.
The Pioneers (6-13) will now prepare for their game against Bay City (Bay City, TX). The Blackcats go into the 4A Region IV District 26 game with a 8-4 record.
