Alabama High School Baseball - Long gets by New Brockton
April 4, 2023: Skipperville, AL 36374 Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), 8-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Long upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Rebels host Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, April 8. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 13-9. Pike Liberal Arts won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL)
With the defeat, New Brockton falls to 12-9 on the season. The Gamecocks travel to Pike County (Brundidge, AL) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 4 test on Thursday, April 6. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-4. Pike County lost 14-2 in their recent league test against Opp (Opp, AL)
