North Carolina High School Soccer - Northern Guilford knocks off Western Guilford
April 4, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27410 Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the host Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 8-0 in a non-league test.
The Nighthawks now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grimsley for a test on Thursday, April 6. Northern Guilford will meet a Whirlies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Western Guilford drops to 1-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Vikings in a test on Tuesday, April 18. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 7-1. Northwest Guilford won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC)
