New York High School Lacrosse - Shaker overwhelms La Salle Institute
April 4, 2023: Troy, NY 12180 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) and the host La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), saw Shaker's lacrosse team top La Salle Institute by a margin of 13-3.
The Bison (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 2 Suburban - Gold challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Bethlehem Central beat Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY), 6-2, in a league challenge.
The Cadets (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Cornwall Central beat Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY), 15-2, in a non-league challenge.
