April 4, 2023: Westwood, MA 02090 St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Xaverian Brothers Hawks (Westwood, MA), 15-8 in a league battle.
The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Acton-Boxborough for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 8. St. John's Prep will clash with a Colonials squad coming off a 16-5 league win over Westford Academy (Westford, MA). The Colonials record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 8. Xaverian Brothers will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 21-9 league win over East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI).
