April 4, 2023: Jacksonville, FL 32206 Fernandina Beach Pirates (Fernandina Beach, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Andrew Jackson Tigers (Jacksonville, FL), 14-1 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raines for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. Fernandina Beach will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Parker (Jacksonville, FL). The Vikings record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Andrew Jackson falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Atlantic Coast (Jacksonville, FL) to battle the Stingrays in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Stingrays enter the challenge with a record of 1-12. Atlantic Coast lost 17-1 in their recent league challenge against Sandalwood (Jacksonville, FL)
