Texas High School Softball - Kirbyville can't hold off Orangefield
April 4, 2023: Orangefield, TX 77639 The Orangefield Bobcats softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Kirbyville Wildcats to 2 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Orangefield improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Bobcats host East Chambers (Winnie, TX) to clash with the Buccaneers in a 3A Region III District 22 game on Thursday, April 6. The Buccaneers come into the game with a record of 1-6. East Chambers lost 14-3 in their recent league game against Anahuac (Anahuac, TX)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Hardin Hornets (Hardin, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 game, on Thursday, April 6. Kirbyville will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 9-12 record after their 26-15 league loss to Warren (Warren, TX).
