April 4, 2024: Holcomb, MO 63852 Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Cooter Wildcats (Cooter, MO), 9-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Holcomb upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Hornets host South Pemiscot (Steele, MO) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class 2 District 1 test on Thursday, April 11. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-6.
