Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK), 10-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Poteau upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Pirates host Wister (Wister, OK) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, April 5. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 9-4. Wister lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Panama (Panama, OK)
