In Thursday's league test, the host Mountain Lakes Lakers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 victory over the West Essex Knights.

The Lakers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glen Ridge for a test on Monday, April 8. Mountain Lakes will face a Ridgers squad coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Chatham (Chatham, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Knights face the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 5. West Essex will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Chiefs come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ).
