The Independence (Ashburn, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA), 16-7 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The host Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Friday, April 12. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 4-1.
