April 4, 2024: Wellman, IA 52356 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) and the visiting Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), saw Mid-Prairie's soccer squad knock off Columbus by a margin of 3-1.
The Golden Hawks now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Monticello for a River Valley test on Tuesday, April 9. Mid-Prairie will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
