Louisiana High School Baseball - Pitkin loses to Captain Shreve
April 4, 2025: Shreveport, LA 71105 Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA), 7-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Captain Shreve advances its record to 18-12 on the season. The Gators travel to Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) to battle the Eagles in a 5A District 1 match on Saturday, April 5. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 6-17. Evangel Christian Academy lost 15-6 in their recent league match against Haughton (Haughton, LA)
The Tigers now have a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Hill for a B District 5 match on Saturday, April 5. Pitkin will battle a Rams squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Rams record now stands at 10-14.
