Tennessee High School Baseball - Hancock County defeats Cocke County
April 4, 2025: Sneedville, TN 37869 The Hancock County Indians (Sneedville, TN) baseball the visiting Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN), 7-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cosby for a 1A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Hancock County will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Cordia (Hazard, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-12.
With the defeat, Cocke County drops to 4-10 on the year. The Fighting cocks travel to Fulton (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Falcons in a 3A District 3 challenge on Monday, April 7. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Fulton lost 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Clay County (Manchester, KY)
