Virginia High School Baseball - Freedom edges Herndon
April 4, 2025: South Riding, VA 20152 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) and the visiting Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), saw Freedom's baseball team gain a win over Herndon by a tally of 5-3.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, West Springfield held off Woodson (Fairfax, VA), 24-5, in a league battle.
Next, the Hornets face the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 5. Herndon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Seahawks enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA).
