The Satellite Scorpions baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Lake Highland Prep Highlanders to 2 in the Scorpions non-league win on Friday.

The Scorpions now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to East River for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Satellite will play a Falcons team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to University (Orange City, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 12-9.

With the defeat, Lake Highland Prep drops to 10-12 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Trinity Prep (Winter Park, FL) to play the Saints in a 2A District 5 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Saints go into the test with a record of 11-5. Trinity Prep lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Orangewood Christian (Maitland, FL)
