April 4, 2025: Walnut Grove, AL 35990 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) and the host West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL), saw Pleasant Valley's baseball team gain a win over West End by a tally of 14-1.
The Raiders (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Wildcats enter the 2A Area 13 battle with a 7-17 record. In their last battle, Sand Rock prevailed over Donoho (Anniston, AL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Patriots face the Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL) in a 2A Area 12 battle, on Tuesday, April 8. West End will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 11-8 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Hayden (Hayden, AL).
