Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) and the host Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ), observed Ironwood Ridge's volleyball team top Combs by a tally of 3-0.

The Nighthawks (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ). The Red Wolves enter the 4A Kino contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Walden Grove was beaten by Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Coyotes meet the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles (Gilbert, AZ) in a 4A East Sky contest, on Tuesday, April 8. Combs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 20-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ).
