Arizona High School Volleyball - Desert Ridge over Marana

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) and the visiting Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Desert Ridge's volleyball team gain a win over Marana by a margin of 3-1.

The Jaguars now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Williams Field for a 6A Fiesta bout on Tuesday, April 8. Desert Ridge will clash with a Black Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Marana drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, April 7. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Sunnyslope won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ)
