The Bellevue West Thunderbirds baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Skutt Catholic SkyHawks to 3 in the Thunderbirds non-league win on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millard North for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Bellevue West will play a Mustangs team coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Skutt Catholic drops to 2-5 on the year. The Skyhawks travel to Bennington (Bennington, NE) to play the Badgers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5.
