New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Columbia drops to Westfield
April 4, 2025: Westfield, NJ 07090 Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ), 15-9 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Westfield improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ) to play the Blue Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. The Blue Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-1. Immaculate Heart Academy lost 8-7 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ)
The Cougars now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morristown-Beard for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9. Columbia will play a Crimson team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ). The Crimson record now stands at 1-1.
