April 4, 2025: Summit, IL 60501 The Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Little Village Phoenix (Chicago, IL), 8-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Argonauts now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Evergreen Park for a South Suburban challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Argo will face a Mustangs team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
The Phoenix (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Hubbard (Chicago, IL). The Greyhounds enter the Chicago Public First Division Central game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Hubbard held off Kennedy (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
