In Friday's non-league test, the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) lacrosse team edged the host San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA), by a count of 8-7.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific test, on Monday, April 7. University will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record.
