Illinois High School Softball - Putnam County bounces Amboy
April 4, 2025: Amboy, IL 61310 The Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL) softball routed the host Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), 27-9 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Panthers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Somonauk for a non-league outing on Monday, April 7. Putnam County will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Amboy moves to 1-6 on the season. The Clippers travel to Dakota (Dakota, IL) to encounter the Indians in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 5. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Dakota won 10-0 in their recent league outing against Forreston (Forreston, IL)
