In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Babcock Trailblazers softball team scored a nice 17-3 victory over the Sarasota Christian Blazers.

The Trailblazers (12-4) will now prepare for their match against Mason Classical Academy (Naples, FL). The Paladins go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Mason Classical Academy gained a win over Everglades City (Everglades City, FL), 12-10, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Blazers battle the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons (Bradenton, FL) in a 2A District 11 match, on Tuesday, April 8. Sarasota Christian will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
