West Virginia High School Baseball - GVCS Broadfording loses to The Linsly School
April 4, 2026: Wheeling, WV 26003 The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting GVCS Broadfording Lions (Hagerstown, MD), 11-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, The Linsly School moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cadets host Morgantown (Morgantown, WV) to battle the Mohigans in a Two Rivers match on Wednesday, April 8. The Mohigans come into the match with a record of 8-0. Morgantown won 13-5 in their recent non-league match against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV)
The Lions now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercersburg Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, April 4. GVCS Broadfording will battle a Storm squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Pennington (Pennington, NJ). The Storm record now stands at 0-2.
