The Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) baseball trounced the visiting West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS), 8-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

Next up, the Aggies encounter the Alcorn Central Golden Bears (Glen, MS) in a 3A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, April 7. Kossuth will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Golden Bears enter the bout with a 13-9 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to McNairy Central (Selmer, TN).
