Chittenango Bears (Chittenango, NY) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Central Square Redhawks (Central Square, NY), 11-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Chittenango upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY) to play the Northstars in a non-league game on Thursday, April 9. The Northstars enter the game with a record of 2-2. Cicero-North Syracuse won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Northmont (Clayton, OH)

The Redhawks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westhill for a non-league game on Monday, April 6.
